A musical instrument needs to be able to adequately stay in tune, be easy to play, and be repairable.

Director Approved Instruments

Is the instrument Band Director approved? Band Directors have many years experience with various brands and are aware of quality issues. There is a good chance they have a detailed sheet listing their preferences—just ask them. Tarpley Music only carries high-quality, Band Director approved, musical instruments.
